Our Stable, High Purity, Sulfhydryl Blocked Bovine Serum Albumin blocks free-thiol groups to provide a high monomer albumin with minimum polymerization upon storage and is routinely used as a blocking agent for streptavidin poly-HRP.

Our albumin is sterile filtered before lyophilization.

Bovine Serum Albumin can be used where stable primary standards are necessary and for immuno-diagnostic assays such as EIA, RIA and ELISA. BSA is absent of protease and non-esterified fatty acids. Sulphydryl Blocked BSA is Free of reactive sulphydryl groups, Protease Free, IgG free, Low Calcium, Low Sodium, Low Chloride content. Our Bovine Serum Albumin sulphydryl Blocked is Free of interfering immunoglobulins, highly soluble, crystalline powder that forms clear, particle-free solutions with water.
