Lee Biosolutions Supplier of C REACTIVE PROTEIN Polyclonal Antibodies produced in bulk and research quantities.

Polyclonal anti-human C-Reactive Protein Procedure: Rabbits were immunized with rat C-Reactive Protein (CRP) isolated from rat serum. The resulting antiserum was solid phase absorbed with rat serum lacking crp until it gave a single band with serum containing the acute phase protein.

The specific anti-Rat CRP was immunoaffinity purified off an antigen containing immunoabsorbant.

Specification: Affinity purified Rabbit anti-Rat CRP gives a single band by IEP and gel diffusion. This product is suitable for ELISA and Blotting applications.
Working Dilutions: ELISA Coating 3 ug/mL and Western Blot 0.1 ug/mL

Human C REACTIVE PROTEIN (CRP) is a plasma protein, an acute phase protein produced by the liver. Human C Reative Protein (CRP) is a member of the pentraxin family of proteins.

Human C Reative protein, CRP is a member of the class of acute phase reactants as its levels rise dramatically during inflammatory processes occurring in the body. Human C reative Protein (CRP) is thought to assist in complement binding to foreign and damaged cells and affect the humoral response to disease
