HUMAN TROPONIN T CARDIAC MARKER
Human cardiac Troponin is measured in the blood to differentiate between unstable angina and myocardial infarction (heart attack) in patients with chest pain. A patient who had suffered from a myocardial infarction would have an area of damaged heart muscle and so would have elevated human cardiac Troponin levels in the blood. Troponin T is a part of the troponin complex comprising of three subunits: TnC, TnI and TnT. Lee Biosolutions produces a portfolio of cardiac biomarkers for immunoassays which play a key role in the diagnosis and management of many diseases including heart attack, heart failure, hepatitis and cancer.
