Polyclonal anti-human Haptoglobin procedure: Purification of Goat anti-human haptoglobin: Goats were immunized with highly purified human haptoglobin. After several injections serum was collected and solid phase absorbed to ensure anti-human haptoglobin specificity. The antiserum was then affinity purified off an antigen containing immunoabsorbant.

The anti-human haptoglobin is useful for ELISA and blotting applications.

The affinity purified anti human haptoglobin forms a single preciptin band with human serum haptoglobin and purified human haptoglobin by immunoelectrophoresis and double diffusion.
