LeeBio's Urobilinigen is used in urine tests. Urine Test Strip: Chemical Principle: Modified Ehrlich's reaction. Urobilinogen present reacts with Ehrlich's reagent to form a red-colored compound. Color changes from light orange-pink to dark pink. The test is based on a diazotisation reaction of 4- Methoxybenzene diazoniurn salt and urinary urobilinogen in a strong acid medium. The color changes from pink to brown-red.
